When I take the Lord’s Body and his Blood, I take in his spirit, his mission–all of him. As I am part of his body, everyone else is. Do I accept others as my brothers and sisters? Who are the people that I cannot accept as my spiritual family? I ask Jesus to help me see them in a new light.

While they were eating, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, gave it to them, and said, “Take it; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it. He said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for many.

The mystery of Trinity reminds us of the great love and many wondrous things God has done for us and for the world as well, quoting the Book of Deuteronomy : “Ask now of the days of old, before your time, ever since God created man upon the earth; ask from one end of the sky to the other : Did anything so great ever happen before?

Holy Trinity is an example, a model of our community, of our family. The Holy Sprit is the love between The Father and The Son. In every situation, the Father, The Son and The Holy Sprit work together and share common mission to love and serve human beings. 

Jesus approached and said to them, “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.

I am sure you have seen a deserted house or a house which has just been finished, but not lived; it may have everything in it : doors, windows, furniture, beds, tables, chairs, kitchen and other facilities. But it is just a house, not a home or a family because there is no life in it, there are no people living in it as yet.

Exactly as scheduled, the first Mass in English was concelebrated at 7:30 pm, Saturday evening 26-5-2012. Being the first Mass in English here at Saint Dominic Church and with the rain threatening, some feared that the church would be half-filled. But to our surprise, the number of Mass attendants surpassed our expectation : the church was full to its capacity.
