Hai con thạch sùngMột người Nhật muốn sửa lại ngôi nhà đôi chút, nên đã phá bức tường đi. Nhà ở Nhật thường có một khoảng rỗng nhỏ giữa các bức tường gỗ. Khi phá những bức tường, người đó nhìn thấy một con thằn lằn bị mắc kẹt vì có chiếc đinh từ phía ngoài đóng dính vào chân nó.

Người ấy nhìn thấy vậy, thế nên rất thương cảm, nhưng cũng hết sức tò mò vì khi kiểm tra chiếc đinh, anh thấy nó được đóng từ khi mới xây, tức là từ 10 năm nay rồi.

Chuyện gì đã xảy ra?

Con thằn lằn sống như thế ở một khoảng trống trong tường trong suốt 10 năm không hề xê dịch. Một điều tưởng chừng như quá dị thường, thậm chí là không thể.

Và anh ta đã tự hỏi làm sao con thằn lằn sống suốt 10 năm mà không hề đi một bước nào vì chân nó đã bị đóng đinh.

Anh ta tạm ngừng làm việc, ngồi một góc quan sát con thằn lằn, xem nó làm gì và có gì để ăn.. Một lúc sau không biết từ đâu xuất hiện một con thằn lằn khác, miệng ngậm thức ăn, bò về phía con thằn lằn mắc kẹt.

Không biết con thằn lằn mang thức ăn tới có họ hàng gì với con thằn lằn mắc kẹt hay chúng cùng một gia đình? Nhưng nó đã mang thức ăn tới trong suốt 10 năm. Không mệt mỏi, không từ bỏ hy vọng. Và nếu như người Nhật kia không phá bức tường thì không biết sự yêu thương này còn tiếp tục đến bao giờ?

Trong một xã hội đầy đủ những tiến bộ về công nghệ thông tin, sự tiếp cận của chúng ta đối với thông tin ngày càng nhanh hơn, liên lạc ngày càng dễ hơn. Nhưng khoảng cách giữa con người với nhau… dường như mỗi ngày một xa hơn….
