‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master’s joy.’

Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.”

Everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day.

 just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.

Simon Peter said in reply,

“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus said to Thomas, “Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”

For they did not yet understand the Scripture that he had to rise from the dead.
