The greatest among you must be your servant.

“You shall love the Lord, your God,with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind”.

“Then repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God.”

The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. 

There was a landowner who planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a wine press in it, and built a tower. Then he leased it to tenants and went on a journey.

What is your opinion? A man had two sons. He came to the first and said, ‘Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.’ He said in reply, ‘I will not, ‘but afterwards changed his mind and went.

And on receiving it they grumbled against the landowner, saying, ‘These last ones worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us, who bore the day’s burden and the heat.’

If two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father.
